Check-in Africa is a social enterprise that harnesses clean energy to promote the livelihoods of youth and women. Our members utilize biomass and other green inputs to produce a range of products, including affordable, energy-saving stoves, unconventional briquettes that burn for between 4 and 6 hours, and lighters.

Our Products
Every year millions of tons of agricultural waste are generated in Uganda; causing immense environmental degradation. Check-in Africa Initiatives focuses on adding value to this waste to turn it into clean affordable energy; high fuel briquettes.
Our Programs
Checkin Africa promotes safe and clean cooking solutions that aim to improve public health, particularly for women and children exposed to smoke from open fires.
